Who am I?
My name is Tamara Ghoul. I am a writer, a reader, but most importantly, I am a dreamer. I dream of an interconnected world where cultures interact and connections that transcend expansive geographical barriers are formed.
Additionally, I am a global citizen. Being half Lebanese, half Tunisian, and living in the United Arab Emirates, I carry a plethora of traditions and customs on my back that have nurtured me into the person that I am today, and have collectively inspired me to create this platform- DesertInk Digest.
Through increasing the coverage on often neglected Middle Eastern Authors, predominantly those of Lebanese and Tunisian descent, I hope to foster my aforementioned dream, and create a landscape where literature composed by authors of juxtaposing lands are showcased in society.
Together, we are stronger!
